Amethyst is a type of quartz that forms as molten lava cools, and its signature colour runs from purple to lavender. Some amethyst is nearly black, some carries purple and white bands like Chevron (Dream) Amethyst, and Prasiolite is a green amethyst coloured by its mineral inclusions.
It grows as geodes, clusters and individual pieces. These rough minis keep their natural edges and glassy faces.

A stone of clarity, intuition and protection.
In crystal tradition, amethyst is believed to vibrate at an ultra-high frequency and is said to deepen intuition, enhance spiritual awareness and promote connection to higher realms. It is associated with the third eye (brow) and crown chakras, the centers of intuition and connection with divinity.
Its name comes from the Greek ‘amethystos’, meaning ‘to be intoxicated’; the ancient Greeks and Romans wore it in the belief that it cured drunkenness. Modern crystal tradition still sees it as an ally in overcoming addictions, reinforcing a commitment to clarity and inner strength.
Crystals have been prized for centuries for their beauty and believed metaphysical properties; Spirit Magicka makes no guarantee of any mystical or healing effect.
