Rhodonite

A point named for the rose.

Rhodonite takes its name from the Greek word for rose. Its pink comes from manganese, mottled with black flecks of manganese inclusions, here cut and polished into a six-sided point that stands on its own.

The rescue stone.

Rhodonite is called the stone of balance, forgiveness and emotional restoration. In crystal tradition it is known as the rescue stone, said to help heal emotional wounds and encourage forgiveness, and believed to stir self-confidence and self-esteem. It is linked with the heart chakra and said to support compassion, understanding and love, emotional balance and inner peace.

Crystal points are traditionally said to amplify energy, enhance clarity, foster spiritual connection, balance energies and aid manifestation.

Beyond pink, rhodonite also forms in yellow, green and black. It is found in Russia, Brazil, Peru, Canada, Sweden and Australia, and in the caves of Argentina it grows into massive stalactites and stalagmites.

Crystals have been prized for centuries for their beauty and believed metaphysical properties; Spirit Magicka makes no guarantee of any mystical or healing effect.
