Each generator is polished into a six-sided tower that rises to a single point. It has a good weight in the hand and stands steady on its flat base, so it makes a striking piece for a desk or a bedside table.
The purple runs deepest near the tip and softens into clear, smoky quartz toward the base.

Amethyst
Clear quartz, turned purple deep in the earth.
Amethyst begins as clear quartz. Silica-rich fluids slowly cool and crystallize in volcanic or granite rock, and traces of iron, heat and pressure give the stone its purple.
It is found around the world, from Brazil, Uruguay and Bolivia to Zambia, Madagascar, Russia and the United States, in Arizona, Colorado and North Carolina.

In crystal tradition, amethyst is a stone of tranquility, intuition and protection, said to soothe the mind, ease stress and deepen meditation and spiritual practice. Large generators are believed to gather and amplify energy and intentions, which is why many keep one at the heart of an altar.
The name comes from the Greek amethystos, "not intoxicated." The ancient Greeks and Romans wore amethyst believing it guarded against drunkenness, and many still keep it as a companion for clarity, resolve and breaking old habits.
Crystals have been prized for centuries for their beauty and believed metaphysical properties; Spirit Magicka makes no guarantee of any mystical or healing effect.
